This is Not Your Fest (aka TINYfest) is a four day music festival taking place at five different venues across the East Bay from September 27-30th. It is a benefit for Bay Area Women Against Rape. TINY Fest began as a direct action in protest of a predatory promoter who committed sexually inappropriate behavior against others in the East Bay pop-punk scene and wouldn’t take responsibility for their actions. The organizers of TINYfest want to reiterate that abusive behavior is not tolerable anywhere and emphasize that it is essential for our music spaces to be safe and fun for all identities.
Bands performing over the 4 days will include: Nopes, The Love Songs, Lavender Scared, The Y Axes, Drama, Sarchasm, Dying for It, Pity Part, Day Labor, Yarrow, Lazy Hawk, SOAP, GNARBOOTS, The Love Dimension, Oinga Boinga, Horrible/Adorable, Silent Era, Soft Tug, United Defiance, Year of the Fist, Under 15 Seconds, awakebutstillinbed, Street Eaters, Screaming Fist, Difficult Objects, Protected Left, Black Water Birth, Casual Burn, Defend, and Noble Bones.
