Spectrum: The CoolClimate Calculator

Posted on December 25, 2011

On Spectrum this Friday, December 30 at noon will be guest Chris Jones, a Research Associate at the Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory (RAEL) and a doctoral student in the Energy and Resources Group at the University of California, Berkeley.

His primary research intersects the fields of industrial ecology, environmental psychology, ecological economics and climate change policy. He is lead developer of the CoolClimate Calculator, which is an online tool that allows households and businesses to estimate their complete carbon footprints, compare their results to similar users, and develop personalized climate action plans to reduce their contribution to climate change. Try the Calculator at the web site CoolCalifornia.org. Make a New Year Resolution to use less carbon and monitor your success using the Cool Climate Calculator!
