On Tuesday, November 8th @ 9AM, The Graduates speaks with Maxwell Aaronson, Master of Public Policy Candidate in the Goldman School of Public Policy here at UC Berkeley. During the interview, Max talks about his work with Big Ideas, a student innovation competition that offers funding, support, and recognition for students’ ideas to solve the world’s most pressing social challenges.
Students are able to compete in nine different contest categories and have the chance to win up to $18,000 of an overall prize pool of $300,000 (Deadline: November 16, 2016). There are also opportunities for mentorship, judge feedback, skill development, networking, and additional funding throughout the competition. In the interview, Max also discusses some of the more successful ideas that have been implemented out of the Big Ideas competition.
