Kevin Block on The Graduates

Tune in to The Graduates on Tuesday, May 9th @ 9AM to hear from Kevin Block, PhD Candidate in the Department of Rhetoric here at UC Berkeley. Kevin’s dissertation research focuses on architectural history and philosophy in postbellum New York.

In the interview, Kevin also discusses the impact that the advancement of science can have on architectural theory, the modern importance of semantics and rhetoric, and his role as a Global Urban Humanities Fellow. 

The Graduates, highlighting graduate student research at Berkeley and around the world, is broadcast every other Tuesday at 9AM. Past episodes are available to listen and download free on iTunes or online. The Graduates is hosted by Tesla Monson, PhD Candidate in the Department of Integrative Biology.
