Tune in on Tuesday, April 25th @ 9AM to hear an interview with endocrinologist Kate Wilsterman on The Graduates! Kate is a PhD candidate in the Department of Integrative Biology studying reproductive endocrinology.

In the interview, she talks about her research on the effects of stress during pregnancy, regales us with stories from her Research Experience for Undergraduates working with Arctic ground squirrels in Alaska, and argues for the importance of public funding in science.

The Graduates, highlighting graduate student research at Berkeley and around the world, is broadcast every other Tuesday at 9AM on KALX. Past episodes are available to listen and download free on iTunes or online. The Graduates is hosted by Tesla Monson, PhD Candidate in the Department of Integrative Biology.
