Tune in to The Graduates this Tuesday, February 16 at 9 AM, for an interview with Jane Henderson from the Department of Geography. Jane studies how communities conceptualize the spaces they occupy and how conceptions of space define and create social interactions. Her dissertation focuses on geographies in Minnesota; she examines the relationship of Black Midwesterners to the frontier. In the interview, she discusses some of the philosophy behind human geography as well as the outcomes she anticipates from her work.
