Carrie is a PhD candidate in the Department of Integrative Biology studying the evolutionary relationships in the Liliales order, abiotic interactions in plants, and root tubers. In the interview, Carrie talks about her past botany research experience, fieldwork, and phylogenetics. Carrie also discusses her love for botany and how she began to study plants.
