Annie DiRusso Interview

Posted on October 6, 2022

ab6761610000e5eb550b78daab6cc419c10b8627

On Friday, October 7th at 4:30 PM  Just Like Other Girls speaks with Nashville-based singer-songwriter, Annie DiRusso. The interview, which was conducted ahead of DiRusso’s performance at The Regency Ballroom on Tuesday, September 27th, covers everything from musical influences to favorite books.

Only one year out of college, Annie DiRusso writes confessional songs about growing up, falling in love, and finding a sense of identity. She is currently on tour opening for UK-based artist Declan McKenna. Mixing poignant lyrics, with energetic guitar rock, DiRusso lists artists like Liza Anne and Lucy Dacus as major inspirations. Her music is a real and raw look at what it feels like to be a college-aged student in the 21st century.
