Herr is the Associate Professor of Bioengineering at UC Berkeley. Her lab is part of the UC Berkeley Department of Bioengineering and the UC Berkeley/UCSF Graduate Group in Bioengineering. Their research focuses on bioinstrumentation innovation to improve quantitative measurements in life sciences and translating that work to provide better clinical diagnostics. This means isolating, identifying and measuring single cell instances of proteins from tiny samples.
