Over the years, he has managed artists including Anita O’Day, Yma Sumac, Ruth Brown, Johnnie Ray, Patti Page, Eartha Kitt, and Maxene Andrews of The Andrews Sisters.
In this wide-ranging conversation, Eichler reflects on his lifelong love of old music, his experiences working behind the scenes in publicity and artist management, and his work producing films and theatrical projects.
