Lashon Daley on The Graduates

Tune in for a new episode of The Graduates on Tuesday, September 12th @ 9AM as we speak with Lashon Daley in the Department of Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies

Lashon's research focuses on early African-American literature and folk tales, and how the black community creates an understanding of what it means to be black. In the interview, Lashon talks about her graduate work studying Br'er Rabbit, the famous literary figure, as well as her experience as a children's author. Lashon's first play, The Carter Sisters, is debuting on September 13th in Dwinelle Hall.
