Tune in on Monday, July 7th at 7pm when Bartleby speaks with Todd Taylor and Daryl Gussin of DIY punk magazine, Razorcake.

Razorcake/Gorsky Press, Inc. (RC/GP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit multidisciplinary arts organization. Its core mission is publishing Razorcake, a magazine dedicated to DIY punk, independent culture, and amplifying unheard voices.  They provide consistent coverage of do-it-yourself punk culture that you won’t find anywhere else and  believe in positive, progressive, community-supportive DIY punk.

Their bi-monthly fanzine is a one-of-a-kind resource for the DIY punk community. Over the years, RC/GP has developed this resource to help document every facet of this culture. The RC/GP umbrella also includes book publishing, record pressing, live shows // readings, a web presence that maintains weekly podcasts, webcomics, and videos.

Razorcake‘s open participation policy means anyone can become a contributor. Currently, RC/GP offers a forum for over 150 long-term, independent volunteer writers, photographers, illustrators, and musicians from around the world. They take pride in their scenes and represent them nationally and internationally. They also distribute the magazine to over twenty countries.

DIY punk is an exciting, evolving culture that can thrive outside of corporate interests. Razorcake‘s goal is to continue operating a modern framework where this community of independent, DIY punk can continue.
