Due to construction at Barrows Hall on the UC Berkeley campus, KALX will be OFF THE AIR for two short periods on Saturday, December 4. The first outage will occur around 6:00am that morning. The second outage as yet cannot be determined.
* UPDATE * The first outage will occur around 6:30am *
If you are not receiving a signal at some point during the day, please check back in a half-hour or so.
Our internet stream will also be down.

The finalists and winners have been announced...and Northgate Radio won in the Radio: Best Feature category!
The College Broadcasters 2010 National Student Production Awards Program Winners and Finalists were presented their awards at the national convention in Louisville this October. Almost 500 entries were submitted in all categories. Our submission for Best Feature Show or Broadcast was North Gate Radio's Tall Tales show which aired on November 18, 2009.

It's that time of year again - the annual KALX fundraiser will be here soon! From Friday, October 22 - Sunday, October 31, tune in from 6:00am - midnight every day to pledge and receive amazing thank-you gifts, from gift certificates to local businesses, to new-music packages, to our hot new 2010 collectible KALX swag designed by KALX listeners for KALX listeners.
This ain't your average, run-of-the mill telethon - this is 10 days when our DJs plan their best shows ever and partner up with each other to bring you the most entertaining and engaging programming all year!
