Join KALX and the New Parish as we present Clap Your Hands Say Yeah (CYHSY) on Tuesday, June 16th @ 8:00PM. CYHSY are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their debut album, and they will playing their debut album, as well as other favorites from their catalog!

On Tuesday, March 31st @ 8PM, join KALX at Rickshaw Stop for a fun night with La Luz. The Seattle quartet manages to deliver both jubilance and an ominous mood in their music, which is inspired by '60s girl group harmonies and surf riffs. Their LP, It's Alive, is available through Hardly Art. Will Sprott of the Mumlers and San Francisco's Magic Trick are also on the bill.

Join KALX and The Independent to see Cambodian/American psych pop band Dengue Fever play their classic cuts, as well as new tracks from their first new album in four years, The Deepest Lake. Get there early to hear support band Solwave.

Taking the stage on Friday, October 24th @ 9PM over at the Rickshaw Stop, Allo Darlin' will be performing their indiepop songs along with Oakland's The Hot Toddies and San Francisco's The Tropics. Don't miss out and share a night with KALX!

KALX co-announces legendary post-punk band Mission Of Burma, performing at The Independent on Friday, August 29th @ 9PM. Get there early to hear support acts Coo Coo Birds and Broncho.

On Thursday, August 21st @ 9PM, Popscene and KALX present Jonna Gruesome live in San Francisco's Rickshaw Stop. Joanna Gruesome are an energetic noise pop quartet from Cardiff, Wales, UK. Inspired in part by C86, riot grrrl, and shoegaze, their music is filled with walls of fuzz guitars, blistering drums, and socially conscious lyrics. Their debut LP, Weird Sister, was released by Slumberland Records in August 2013.
