Look out, there's a new game in town and it's real, brutal and to the death! Tune in on Tuesday, October 12th from 9-10pm for the KALX Death Match, a one hour music face-off/ smack-down between KALX DJs. This second playoff match will feature Steel Stilettos vs. the Liquidator, refereed by your Tumble Weed, with special guest commentator, Dick Cheney!

Local drummer and bandleader Scott Amendola will be the guest of AmazingGrace on Sunday, October 10th at 12:30pm. He'll be bringing his new album "Lift" and playing music from all the bands with whom he's involved. He may also bring his thingamagoop and play some electronics, so tune in!

CAL alum and LA based singer-songwriter Connie Lim will be making a visit to the station on Friday, October 8th during KALX DJ Citizen Zain's afternoon show from 12-2pm. She'll be chatting about her west cost tour, her brand new music video, and everything else she's kept busy with since the summer debut of her album, The Hunted, currently in the feature section of the KALX library. She'll also be doing an acoustic performance of her "retro-tronica" style of music during the show. Tune in!
