Vague Lanes is a darkwave duo from the East Bay. The band consists of music scene veterans Mike Cadoo (Gridlock, Bitcrush) and Badger McInnes (Here We Burn, After the Apex). With already an album “Foundation & Divergence” on the Swiss Dark Nights label and a sell released EP “Cassette”, the duo favors driving drum machines and sparse synth ornamentation as a backbone for their dual bass guitar amalgam. Their music carries the classic post-punk ideology while adding modern detail.

San Francisco-based artist Namor released his first album, Mile High Club, on February 24th. With influences including Giorgio Moroder, Mike Dean, and Daft Punk, Namor has developed a versatile, Pop/R&B style of alternative production with electronic elements, gathering various vocalists to collaborate and shine on the silky-smooth tracks. This first album has a little bit of everything for everyone, as some songs follow the classic “four-on-the-floor” drum patterns and others dip into smooth hyperpop breakbeats.
