On October 23 and 24, Indie pop trio MUNA performed at the Fillmore as part of their 2022 North American tour. Consisting of singer Katie Gavin, guitarist Josette Maskin, and instrumentalist Naomi McPherson, MUNA has gained widespread attention for their energetic tracks and high quality production, a standard of quality which carried over in their live performances.

A note from the interviewer, John The Reptilian: As a teenager in the 1980s Jason Becker was one of the most promising up & coming players & one of the most talented guitarists of all time.  In 1988 he recorded his groundbreaking solo album Perpetual Burn. Prior to that he had recorded albums with  Marty Friedman under the name Cacophony. He landed the role of lead guitar in the David Lee Roth band & recorded the album A Little Ain't Enough.

Live music has always gifted a unique experience to every individual in its presence. As someone who frantically searches for the right answer to the question what’s the best concert you’ve ever been to and ends up listing a dozen different shows for a dozen different reasons, it has only become more apparent that it is not only impossible, but unfair, to try and find a “right” answer when the artists, the instruments, the venue, the genre, the crowd and more all take part in the ritual of attending a show.
