William Ryan Fritch is a local artist who wears many hats. He is a film composer, singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Oakland, CA. He will be a guest on Citizen Zain's show on Friday, February 25th from 1:30-2:30pm talking about his latest album Music For Honey & Bile. He will also do a live performance on air so be sure to tune in!

Live from Amoeba SF, KUSF DJs will be spinning today from 12p-3p to further raise awareness of the importance of community and college radio. Hosted by WFMU's Billy Jam (former KALX and KUSF DJ), several stations around the country (and world!) will be broadcasting the event.

Join Rubberband Girl from 3p-6p, during KALX Radio's Best Of Week, as she celebrates 53+ years of music with Scott Miller, author of the book "MUSIC: What Happened?"

Perhaps best known for his bands Game Theory (80's) and The Loud Family (90's), Scott has been making annual "best song" lists since his youth. His new book compiles song lists for every year from 1957 through 2009.
