This Saturday, January 28th on KALX Live, Hot Laundry is hosted in-studio by Renée Black. Tune in around 9:30 PM to hear Hot Laundry take over the KALX studios with a live performance + interview. Sending you back to the 1960s bad girl garage band days, Hot Laundry is a San Francisco outfit kicking out a fresh new take on hi-octane rock-n-roll. With hints of Motown, revved up guitars in the vein of MC5, and a heavy dash of delta boogie.

The album was released in 1997, when the members of the band were in their early twenties. Unlike their more recent albums, the tracks themselves have a distinct youthfulness to them, filled with more angst, shouting and confusion.
