This is the first playoff match and will feature Fisticuffs vs. Dick Cheney Jr., refereed by your Tumble Weed, with special guest commentator, Dick Cheney! And you, the listener, decides who lives and who dies by calling in and voting down a DJ's (match) song choice! Loser will be unveiled! Are you ready to rumble!

Join KALX and friends at The Swedish American Hall (upstairs from Cafe Du Nord) for an evening with Joe Boyd & Robyn Hitchcock for "Chinese White Bicycles."
Boyd reads from his book White Bicycles about the musicians he discovered, nurtured, and produced in the late 1960s: The Incredible String Band, Fairport Convention, Pink Floyd, Nick Drake, and others. Hitchcock, a teenage fan then, plays some of their songs and asks Joe about them in wide-eyed wonder.
