Gloomy June is a "moody California pop band" which is comprised of singer Alexi Rose Belchere (she/her), guitarist Devin Nelson (he/they), bassist Jack Sundquist (he/him), and drummer Ash Hyatt (they/them). They're San Francisco locals and this is their second time appearing on KALX live!

Their debut album Milk Fed (2020) s a piece which hopes to transcend genre: “I wanted the album to make me feel grand like glam does, juiced like punk does and uncomfortable like noisier stuff does,” frontwoman Candace Lazarou said of the record.
Body Double is playing at KALX ahead of their March 23rd show at Great American Music Hall, and an April 5th show at Thee Stork Club.
