All Your Favorite Music is (Probably) Black

Greg, Lisa, and Stefanie talk to Mark Montgomery French about his upcoming, immersive presentation, "All Your Favorite Music is (Probably) Black," taking place at the Museum of the African Diaspora on Wednesday, February 20 @ 6PM. French, an award-winning film composer with the group Spiky Blimp, music culture writer noted for Uppity Music — Your Guide to Unsung Black Departure Albums, and the series "28 Days, 28 Black Music Documentaries," and formerly the co-leader of the ’90s progressive funk band Endangered Species, will uncover the African-American roots of popular music genres that appear to be free of African-Americans.
