On Friday, September 6th, KALX and Triple Rock Brewing welcome the Bay Area’s Lyrics Born, in an event called “Berkeley Born & Brewed”.
With roots in Berkeley, Lyrics Born became nationally known in the hip-hop duo Latyrx with 1997’s The Album, and then went on to even bigger acclaim with his 2003 solo record Later That Day. For this show at Triple Rock, Lyrics Born will be backed by a full band performing all his hits and serving up new material from his upcoming final album, Goodbye, Sticky Rice.
