Join KALX on Saturday, August 30th for the Rose Blood Festival, where a variety of femme-fronted bands will converge on Neck of the Woods in San Francisco, to fill up the night with raw, unapologetic sound.
Headliners include the Tenderloin party rockers False Flag, who staged a guerrilla show on the sidewalk in front of the Warfield earlier this year.
They will be joined by garage trio Buzzed Lightbeer, Neo-psych act Fauxes, and the inimitable Alex Vile, who are traveling from Seattle to attend this all ages event. Additional acts include Fatale, Stardust, BLOUS3, Luna Ivy, Big Dog Mastiff, Spa and Hunny Bucket.
Harm reduction and community resources will be available, with a portion of the proceeds donated to domestic violence prevention and support. Feel free to take a break from the action to visit our KALX table, where we’ll be giving some of our signature station swag!
