On Tuesday April 14th, KALX and Bottom of the Hill welcome Brooklyn, New York’s underground rapper Homeboy Sandman back to the Bay Area. Additional event information can be found at the venues website here.
Born Angel Luis Del Villar II, Homeboy Sandman has established himself as a consistent and compelling MC in the world of conscious hip hop, having dropped his first of many albums almost 20 years ago, on labels like Stones Throw and Mello Music. This run of shows in the Western US, dubbed the “Outer Child Tour”, pairs him with Iowa’s Coolzey, and perhaps features a live pairing of the two together on Coolzey’s “Live Above the Water”. Supporting the show are SF’s Sha Ray and Wolf Langis.
The Bottom of the Hill is located at 1233 17th Street, San Francisco, CA
The show is all ages & the venue is wheelchair accessible.
