Diesel Dudes was formed in Oakland, California in 2010, fusing an energetic blend of Anhalt EBM and the hardcore punk and electronic traditions of the California Bay Area. Over the course of 16 years this dense duo has sporadically released bursts of “Sweaty, Hyper Roman Electro Punk For You to Hear While Your Body is Growing Stronger” as well as touring the world and sharing stages with legends such as D.A.F. and Devo. Described by filmmaker John Waters as “big, strong, and totally wrong” their songs are odes to vehicles, labor and the problems caused by Fathers. Every show is a spree of sweat and fury, with deep emotional wounds somehow finding their way into every set as the audience themselves transmutes pain to pleasure, and heartbreak into humor.
