On Wednesday, July 16th at 1pm, Sex 14’s airs an in-depth conversation with singer-songwriter and voice of British invasion pioneers The Zombies, Colin Blunstone.
Blunstone will be appearing at the Great American Music Hall in SF on July 18th for a special Q&A and performance following the screening of the new documentary, Hung Up On A Dream.
The film traces The Zombies’ remarkable 6-decade journey from teenage friends to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees. It also features archival footage and performances, interviews with all four surviving original members, and appearances by admirers including Paul Weller, Dave Grohl, Hayley Williams and FINNEAS.
Colin Blunstone is the voice of The Zombies, the British Invasion pioneers best known for timeless hits like “She’s Not There,” “Tell Her No,” and “Time of the Season.” Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019, Blunstone has enjoyed a career spanning over six decades, celebrated for his uniquely silky and emotive vocal style. In addition to his work with The Zombies, including the cult classic Odessey and Oracle, he’s released various solo albums such as One Year, Ennismore, Journey and more. With The Zombies’ touring era concluded, Blunstone continues to perform and record as a solo artist, carrying forward the legacy of one of rock’s most distinctive voices.
